Hello!
I know its been long since my last post,I am sorry about being so irregular.The lack of posts wasnt due to the fact that there was nothing to post, on the other hand it was due to the fact that there was too much going on in my life and I did not have the time to pen it all .Secondly for some reason I decided to take a conscious break from blogging.

Anyways what is done is done and I am back now. I have changed the template of the blog because I was bored with the old one.

All this while that I did not post anything lots of stuff happened.I finished a whole semester of my B.Tech.I got placed *congrats*.Some good things happened,some really sad things happend :(.There are somethings that I cant have enough of and somethings that I cant help missing.The last semester was by far the toughest one in my entire course of study due to all sorts of reasons ( Yes they included course work too :P)

I should be able to control my mind from not thinking stupid stuff.

Any given program, when running, is obsolete.

Yes Exams are on my head and unfortunately my mind has started to waver a bit. I dont know why this is happening but then even if its something very important it cannot be more important than Majors for god sake !! . I have not been studying for the past 2 days and these are bad signs... So today I decided that I will not think about Arbitrary stuff what ever it might be, Hence the campaign .

Lots happened since my last post,I got over with minors,Had my pracs,Had an accident and one of the most harrowing nights in my life,I was in a Police station from 5:00 pmto 2:oo am.Thank god everything got alright otherwise I would have been making this post out of jail .. They Guy I banged into was a Mad Man he jumped right in front of my car.Thankfully he wasn't injured and everything sorted out fine.I din drive the Car for a few days but slowly I have started driving back and more carefully

Yes coming back to the arbit thinking.As a wise person told me yesterday that exam time is time for no nonsense so I better get back to study ASAP.I think I ll follow the advice as dilligently as possible.

Yea I know this post of mine has no specific topic,doesn't have a flow,these are just random thoughts which I typed in the order of remembrance.

Is it Deja vu.. Why am I feeling that I know what happens next .I am feeling that I have been in this state before.I know what happens next but then I seriously hope that I am wrong because I do not want it to happen again... but then it might not be in my hands.It was never in my hands though Ill try.. Ill try really hard I promise but then I do not want a repeat telecast at no cost!!!

I just pray and pray hard that I am wrong about this..the worst part is I do not know the reason, I do not know what did I do wrong and I am not being told what did I do wrong :-(

Anyways all I d ever want is that you be smiling and if this way you can be happy then so be it I would rather see myself unhappy than make you unhappy so I will not complain .Ill rather accept what is given to me with grace

Yeah well I am happy .. :D..Why ?? - Because I got New Titanium Squash raquet ... :D
its an amazing raquet, the control is just awesome,the weight is just 135 Grams :P,the feel is just unparalled.A titanium raquet just changes the way u play the game, U can hit shots which earlier were only in books.The ball's bounce and pace can actually be controlled to suit your needs.When I spent all my diwali money on the raquet I was a bit scared that If I made the correct choice the other being a wireless router for home but after playing two games I can confidently say that I made the correct choice .Its just amazing and I am in love with it.

Life otherwise is great .. had a great diwali .. got lots to eat and got lots of money :).Celebrated diwali with my buddy pulkit watching movies or should I say sleeping between watching movies :P.And ya best part I got a 9 day vacation from college :D:D ( feel jealous :P).

Exams coming up and the month of november is the most hectic month in the odd semester wid pracs and minors being back to back :-(..But I guess lots of masti done and as mum says time has come to start studying :-)..

First things first..
Not much has changed since the last post.. life continues to be cryptic.Just that I got some of the score of my minor papers One was okay.. another was bad.Lets c how the others are..

On the movie front me has seen a lot of movies in the last few days..Khosla..., Tokyo Drift,V for Vendetta.Talking about V for Vendetta that movie is one great movie but very tuf to understand.. I had to watch it thrice over to make sense out of the movie also the dialouges are just amazing..A must watch for everybody planning to /preparing for GRE.

Talking about GRE the prepration time has come I think Ill borrow the barron's book from pulkit start preparing the wordlists atleast. Most ppl in college are planning to bell the CAT and have joined coaching institutes for it :-s . To say the least - They give me a complex .

Ah another gud thing- I am buying a new squash raquet :D a titanium one :D.If anybody has any suggestions please tell me..also If anybody is interested in a game or two I am always ready..

The weekend has been a lazy sorts for me with all my frends either going out of delhi or busy with some kinda classes or exams..

Why the Hell cant people mind their own business in life...I never interfered in anybody's life ever so why should others.. I mean why this back stabbing?Why these lies?Should I be afraid If I have a clear consience??
Why do people lie about stuff to gain other people's sympathy without realising the effect all these lies could have on somebody else..?
But then this they say is life.. and If instead of trusting me somebody chooses to trust others about me then so be it.. I cant do anything about it so I think Ill not speak and let my actions speak for me... ..

As exams come near and near..my the frequency of my posts has increased.I am happy today so I decided Why not post :D.

Sometimes a change takes place and it takes place for the better * hope* .My last post about the plant was incorrect . Some times it so happens that the seeds of the flowers that fall on the ground create a new Plant and and This is what has happend ... I 'm sorry if I am sounding too vague at this moment but then its all so very personal that I cannot talk much abt it.. Here I am .. this is me..
Ok that was a bad one I agree..But it is strange.That feeling of deja vu is back with me....I am again feeling alone all of a sudden in this big world.. People say I have friends but then I m scared now at the very mention of the word friend . I sowed a seed sometime back, It grew into a plant over the while, but just as it was flowering the rain came and flowers fell down, now what remains to be seen is that if the plant is able to withstand the pressure because at this very moment I cant say anything or rather I dont want to say anything... but this is indeed strange all of a sudden I get that feeling all over again :-( *Trust shaken maybe even stirred*

Btw lots has happend since my last post for a start I completed my intern project and now the software has been put into use :D *Happiness*
I got a new laptop dell Inspiron B 130 1 GB RAM, Centrino 1.8, 15.4 inch screen,Dual layer DVD writer * Drool*
I finally managed to get into third year of my B.Tech ( prayers do help :-P)
Celebrated My 20th birthday in a great way ( Thanks to all of u, if u ppl ever read this...)
And I realise that I Have my minors begining next monday..soI need to study, wish me luck please,I really need it

A tAle oF aN uNeventful LiFe

Some people do have uneventful lives *sigh*....well I totally agree with the statement..
But the statement as such is rather vague and non descriptive in nature...because what seems uneventful to one person at a given point of time may seem very interesting to somebody else...

Ohk..Lets start describing my schedule these days...
Scene 8:30 AM:Phone rings.."Abe dun u have to go to office today...get up"
..slowly and grudgingly I get out of my bed..rush to take my towel..and straight into the shower ..
After which I eat my breakfast which is ofcourse yummy as it has been prepared by mummy..:P :P
Anyways after the yummy breakfast.. I realise that i m getting late so I rush to my car and driving my car I rush to the office which is in CGO complex .. in Lodhi Road ..

For the uninitiated CGO complex is sort of a little pentagon of New DeLhi it has offices of the *shsshhh* all the intelligence agencies and HQ of some para millitary forces and Also It is host to the NIC . All major PSUs /Govt companies have their IT divisions in or near CGO complex...

Neways coming back to my uneventful schedule

Scene 9 :40 AM
I reach office, login to mark my attendance.. Check my mail..well for those who dunno i have a P4 3.2 Ghz machine with 2 GB of RAM and a 256k effectively unlimited connection wid me in my office.. *drool* though I repeat that the Net connection is not to be used for vella purposes ;-)
A typical day at office involves -:
cOding- eRrors- rEmoval-tEsting.Maybe that sounds uneventful to most people but If u have written a single line of code in your life you would know the JOY of executing it correctly after spending 5 hours trying to remove the errors..

There are times when I sit with the system admins.The first thing they taught me was how to put a RJ -45 cable connector ... then how to configure a router ,all the networks ke fundae about portscaners and how to use them..also there is a WAN deployment which will take place by the mid of next month and I will be getting hands on experience on how routing is done in a WAN.. :P:P
Neways not to fget the lunch part I get to eat Eatopia chicken Subs atleast once a week and a mud choc pastry *:P:P* as eatopia is very near to my office..

Ah and coming back to my schedule
Scene 6 :00PM
Office gets over.. I battle the delhi traffic reach home..tired and exausted..what is left of the day goes away in phone calls and IM chats and pLaying GTA all this incase I come straight to home after office which is ussually not the case.. :-).

Scene 11:30 PM
The phone calls dry down a bit,People start to say "gtg byeee tc " in Im chats... and thed ay seems to come to and end.. Just then I realize that there are a lot of unwatched movies on my comp so if there isn't a football match to see.. I see a Movie ...

Scene 01:00 AM

Another phone call "abe soo jaaa kal jana nahi hai kya.."
And I go to sleep..

P.S- All schedules are subject to change in case of an interesting football match.. :-)

Rather Uneventful and boring isnt it .... But then as they say This is liFe :-)..and I am enjoying it

Exams Over I am Back...

Ah such a relief !! The exams finally got over some of them were good,1 was bad,others were okayish :-) But the best part is that i can now sleep well during the night.Although I am not getting any sleep :-( I dunno this is funny I used to feel so sleepy during the time the exams were going on but now all of it seems to have vanished .

Also I Have joined as an Intern at Delhi Transco Limited . And its a gud experience I have My Own Desk and a cubicle of sorts with a comp of my own and and 256 K connection. The Internet However is not to be used for vella purposes and chatting , games they say are prohibitted :P :P(LOL).

Watched 4 movies since Yesterday which include Euro Trip , V for Vendetta, Ice Age 2 and Goodfellas all of them great. I also want to watch Da vinci Badly but none of my frens are here :-(

..Hide n Seek...

Forgive me if this sounds stupid but today in college we got over wid our pracs and were getting bored so we devised a new version of Hide N Seek..which we played in Delhi Metro :-)

First the Main Rules

U can hide only in a span of 6 Stations with the base station (starting point )being station 1.
The game is played only in one direction
U cannot shift platforms on the same Station.
U can however shift trains and even get into the train of the denner.
Also while at a platform u have to at all times remain in the boundries of the platform that is u cannot move down the staion.
U have to hide in a teams of two people.

Now as stupid it may sound it but it was great fun..needless to say the rules were flouted and I shifted platforms.Also it was pretty tiring but in the end all of us were releived of or tension from the practical exams :-) and for an hour it took me back to my childhood days..

Something Something..

Sorry for the increased time gap between my posts .. I have been keeping too busy these days with the end of semester approaching and bringing with it practicals & submissions... Hmm lots has happend since my last post...
First things first:
The past week was great and also a bit special... had lots of fun.. removed lots of misconceptions and misunderstandings .... & finally said smetn to someone which i never thought i would.. :-).
If you ever read this -
"You are special and will always remain so no matter what happens I will always be your side whether u like it or not ;-)"

Saturday saw me going to IIT D for Openhouse 2006 it was an enriching experience . Some of the projects i saw were great .... Also i got to see the labs which were great..

On the movies front I saw Pyare Mohan . I watched the movie in a night show on saturday and it sucks so please dont waste your mone watching it.. also i saw Rambo 2, Behind the Enemy lines and a few more..

In Champions Leauge ARESENAL are through and i think my earler prediction might just become true .... I jus pray AC Milan qualify today ...*eyes closed,hands folded & praying*

Also My Pracs are starting from Sunday...so wish me luck please :-(

Ah as for the title its inspired by a song i heard on the radio , found it nice and then downloaded

Amritsar Diary.....

Last weekend saw me going to Amritsar for a mini holiday.... I had neve visted the city before so was pretty excited about the trip...partly aslo because it was fnalised just about 12 hours before the departure...
I had heard a lot about Amritsar specially Golden temple.. & now I can say that all of that is true...
It is a magnificant place..the feeling one has inside cannot be described its an amazing feeling .. you feel as if you are standing near god..Ah the best part about it is the prasad .. it was by far the tastiest halwa prasad i ve ever had in my life..after visiting the Golden temple.. we visted the Jalianwala bagh and saw the freedom struggle exhibition.. by this time... we were rather hungry so we went to this place called Kesar ka Dhaba.Now food in Punjab is genearlly great but this was out of the world .. the Amritsari kulcha here is to die for. I couldnt manage to eat the much famed Amritsari machhi though :-(.

Neways our stomach's filled we set out for Wagah border.. Now theres smetn about a land border..which makes you feel so proud to be an Indian...the feeling of patriotism inside you is magnified manyfold..The ceremony is jus amazing ah one thing here the Pakistani Rangers are better in the parade than the BSF jawans :-) . But I din like their dress the salwar kurta they wear instead of regular pant shirt.. Newas evything done the eremony finshed we had some colddrinks and set back for home...
It was an amazing holiday :-).

Last Few Days....

Last few days have been a learning experinence of sorts for me...I have experienced feelings ranging from extreem happiness to sadness, I ve been angry, sometimes felt helpless sometimes the "Why Me" came in..maybe I was thinking too much .....

But then last night i realised that life gives all of us 100 reasons to feel sad but only one reason to feel happy.. and I should be searching for that one reason instead of being sad so I have decided(will try) to stay happy always...as far as possible...cos every one of us has something special about him /her than other people want to have in them. :-) & none of us has a reason to feel sad & dejected rather we should all try to be thankful to god for what he has given us.

On a non philosophical note i got some results from my minors & contrarary to my expectations I have done pretty well in them...

First of all sorry for the prolonged absence... i had minors goin on.... they went fine...
Not lots has changed since my last post.... jus that the weather has becum really bad in delhi.. & the AC time has come...:-(...

Watched a lot of movies.. in the last two days.. Munich,Butterfly effect,Eternal sunshine.... All of them were nice...

At champions leauge front.. Juve, Inter are out :-(.... especially sad for Inter milan lets c wat happens next...

Ah vivek mentioned something about online petitions not working in India well they dont if u go by his logic -the numbers aren't enough... but then isnt that the case with any sort petition, demonstration ... cos most of them are also localised and smetyms dun even have 20 - 30 ppl..
As far as the subject of this online petition is concerned .. umm reservations is a very touchy topic &I dun think I am qualified to comment on them...

Times are changing I'm no longer as confused as i was two days ago... I've started to study for my minors(atleast some subjects)...Maybe my efforts to stay unwired for sometime have paid off...

About Champions League *i hate Fabregas* Juventus lost :-(... I din expect Juve to win with no Del Peiro and no Nedved but still the margin by which they lost was too much... I hope the next leg has better results..Though I'm not qualified enough to comment but i think the problem wid Italians is that they play a pretty rough game.. commit fouls n get cards..sit out..lose games...but nonetheless are great to watch at..

I had a very interesting observation-

Arsenal are having not a very gud run at the EPL this season just like Liverpool had last season...

Arsenal cud be instrumental in knocking out Juventus ...Liverpool did that last season.:-(

Thus Umm applying some logic in this series of Deja vu it could be that Aresenal win the Champions league... :-(..*nahiiii*.

Nothing Specific....

Watched Godfather 2.... it was great.... minors coming up next week but I dun feel lyk studying !!! god only knows what i will write in the papers!!!.. Life going on as ussual with just a lil change-the number of hours i stay online... & the number of my phone calls has reduced....basically I am trying to stay unwired for the time being.Lets see till when....

Another thing which is having most of my mind's attention these days is the regular bouts of bad moods which have been hitting me of late... Its like that I'm trying to run..run fast but then sometimes i get tired & stop runing thats when i become sad... :-(..Ill have to do something maybe devise a way to hide... or face up to the challenges that life throws up.... I dunno what to do .My thought process is being clouded..I hate this kinda situation in my life when I dont see what NEXT!!!...

There's lots to be said but no words to say.....or maybe there are words too but i dont want to say... maybe I'm scared ....I jus dunno this post might not seem to make much sense..I dunno maybe I dun want it to make sense or maybe I do !!!

Yes thats what Im thinking rite now... just two days back I had one of the best days of my life till date... the day was amazing and special for me for reasons known to people who know me.. then suddenly in the evening something was revealed to me . I was Shocked,Angry,Hurt and cudnt sleep the whole night... (partly also cos i had work to do)...whole of the following day I was thinking all sorts of crap during the college....then came submission time... at 2 o clock I submitted the assignment ... I got a gud response from the teacher.. & that seriously was needed ..It changed my whole day...I started to feel happy suddenly...
I came home... hell tired again my mind was wavering and jus that tym a very gud frend of mine helped me by talking to me i seriously needed to talk to smebdy...Thnx Namrata :-)... And by evening i was all fine ,had lemon fish for dinner & a hot choc fudge for ice cream broke my own record for not sleeping continiosly for 39 hours(yooohooo)...& then slept :-(...

"A TYPE 69 trainer version of MiG-21 fighter aircraft crashed soon after getting airborne from Uttarlai airbase in Barmer district, killing two pilots on board."

Just as i saw this news on TV this thought occoured to me .... how many more??It also scared me since a very good friend of mine is in his training in IAF..(One of the reasons why i could co-relate with RDB).
Close to 400 Migs have already crashed since they were inducted in the IAF.. I agree they are the mainstay of our airforce but then how many more crashes does the Govt need to open its ears..
Everything has a lifespan & in my veiw the MIG 21 has outlived its lifespan... and it has done a wonderful job during its service. Instead of wasting our hard earned money on getting stupid Russian upgrades & third world spares. I think the Govt shoud concentrate on getting a new multirole fighter for the IAF as fast as possible...

And another thing that comes to my mind is that why is MIG 21 with the kind of track record it has is being used as a trainer aircraft to train rookie pilots.. when even experinced pilots have had crashes with it...

To begin with first of all sorry for the prolonged absence , I wasnt keeping well.

Umm not much has happend since my last post.. just that I've started to study for my minors..
& yet again i realised how lucky I am to have frends..

After a few games , music & cricket I'm sort of back to normal

I'm out in the soccer field playin football

Well life is goin on as ussual...movies,sleep,food & some more sleep.
Lately I've been watching a lot of movies..watched Shawshank Redemption its an amazing movie its second in IMDb top 250 all time movies...(need i say more??)

I have minors coming up first week of April.. guess i shud start studying..
Ah also I've been watching a lot of TV also these days... Arsenal vs Real madrid , Amazing Australia vs South Africa..(deserves a full post) & lots more..though i missed the start of the F1 season ..

Played Soccer after a long time last Sunday.. it was great fun but tiring..one thing about playing soccer is that you forget all your worries while you are playing.. though i dun play very well but
still its great fun...

Ah and one gud thing-the rains the have made the weather in Delhi pleasant again just when we thought the winter was over..here come the rains & bringing with em great weather....

Internship Blues

Internship:The reason because of which me will not be having any summer vacation this year(legally atleast) :-((.It basically will consist of me working for 6-8 weeks during the summer vacations under the able guidance of professors/seniors on a project the report of which will have to be submitted in the following semester.

Resume Writing: You List all yer grades /scores till date along with your achievements
& positions held(i din know wat to write in here . )... :-( in the specified format...

Application Process: U see which IT companies offer an inernship program & which institutes offer projects to outside students.. send in your resumes to them and wait for their response...
generally their is a test or an intervweiw.. which u have to clear in order to get the internship.If anyhow you have good contacts in the Industry or at IIT u can skip the above process..& get the intership...

I have both applied to some companies and used my contacts... lets c where i get to do an internship.. :-?.
If any of the readers can help please tell me i shall mail you my resume at the earliest ..

Yet another act of terrorism .This time Varanasi.. "hub of hinduism" targetted..16 ppl killed..many more injured.
I while reading this on a news channel asked myself ..Till when will this continue , till when are we going to tolerate this..why cant we be like the state of Israel & reply to these attacks by force..(An eye for an eye , A tooth for a tooth..)?

Its not as if we dont have the power to attack the terror camps in Pakistan & we also have the proof that they are responsible for the attacks on the Indian soil.. then i wonder whats stopping us.
If we keep on tolerating this.. then this would keep increasing & soon they will come into our homes & kill us...

I guess its high time India should act against them..

Its not that I'm against Pakistan or smetn.. I also want friendship between the two countries.
But these terrorists are not even loyal to Pakistan.....they are nobdy's frens..and for god sake they are not freedom fighters . The plain simple reason behind their actions is greed for power money.. not love for their religion or country..

Anyone who's visited a MTNL or a PASSPORT office would agree with me that to get a simple phone connection or to get some change in address registered in these Govt. Departments is almost as tough as clearing IIT-JEE !!!.
Now Govt. of India has started an online Greviance Cell http://darpg-grievance.nic.in
for people to use this tool to highlight the problems faced by them while dealing with Govt. departments & officials.

There's a rumor thats been around for a long time about the Eagles Song -Hotel california which happens to be one of my favouites. The basic premise is that the song is about an abandoned church which was taken over by occult group(SatanWorhsipers) &for some unknown reason that place came to be known as Hotel California.Further Eagles are supposed to be followers of that cult & thought to be satan worhsipers.
But these are just rumors..the truth though is a lot less satisfying than the myriad rumors.

The song is an allegory about greed & corruption in the state of California during the 1970s..
At the time of its release the Eagles were ridding high on success , they were enjoying their lives dabbling in drugs , women but were disquited by all this so they decided to pour their unease into the song & warn the listeners about all this...

The real Hotel california isn't a place but a metapor on the LA music industry..& its effect on the the musicians...

I watched Oceans 11 & 12 yesterday .. amazing movies I must say. George Clooney is an amazin actor infact in Oceans 11 he is flawless.

In cricket India is looking in trouble with a 70 runs trail in the first innings..Kumbles innnigs was the only high point from the match.. long tym back kumble used to bat like the way he did yesterday.. infact he & Srinath won the 1996 world cup Quarter Final against Pakistan on their batting skills :-).

I'm writing a techincal paper on Human computer Interaction which is to be presented at SCOPE a national level event being held at Jamia.. any inputs would be gladly accepted :-D.

Life is goin as ussual .I went to the NSIT last tuesday to see the preformance by SOCIAL CIRCUS which is Ali Azmat's (erstwile JUNOON fame) new band.Had great fun with my friends..
On Ali Azmat i dun understand Why he left Junoon ??Dunno why all bands break-up :-( I think Music should be given priority over stupid ego hassles.

Do We Have a Responsible Media??

This thought occoured to me yesterday..while I was reading the TOI. Half the front page was devoted to the design of the Air Force 1. Similarly a few days back we had the Chatwal Wedding .. the whole newspaper was flodded with who's coming ,where is the venue & whats the menu... cmon guys is this News .Sample this - A high profile marrige gets front page coverage.. whereas a great scheme worth Rs 200 crore gets started in Andhra..which gauranties 100 days of Employement to the poor gets a small paragraph on mayb the 6 th page is all this responsible reporting on the behalf of the news paper.. ??
When the Tsuanami came in Dec 2004 there was full page coverage to the plight of the people.. but now an year after it while the people still havent been rehabilitated the media is doing nothing in bringing nations attention to their plight..
What media today has done is that they have divided the country into two -India & Bharat and they are mostly concerned with whats happening in the India part in cities while ignoring the Bharat .

Having said that i really appreciate the way media has helped to generate reactions among the people in the Jessica Lal case but what I think they should do is that they should get a bit closer to the real India.

Are We Happier Than Our Forefathers???

We had our techfest Virus 2K6 recently .. I took part in various competitions including a GD
the topic for discussion was "Are we happier than our forefathers" .
well in my veiw it actually depends on person to person cos happiness is a state of mind . We have made lots of progress in Science & Tech.. & we also have developed in Healthcare & Medicine Economically also we are better of than our Forefathers but still i think there is some thing missing in our lives. We are not contented...there are still tensions in our mind.. the competition out there is neck breaking ... in such a scenario can we say that we are happier than our Forefathers?

P.S -Not to suggest that im not happy or anything like that :-) .This post is just general veiw.
